Amanda Stanhope, FNP
As a nurturing and dedicated healthcare provider, I discovered my passion for women’s health and obstetrics at the young age of 16 while supporting my cousin during her birth. My journey further blossomed during a transformative study abroad experience at a maternity clinic in Ghana, deepening my commitment to supporting women at every stage of life. I have inpatient nursing experience in labor and delivery, post-partum, and newborn care, alongside roles in urgent care, gynecologic oncology, and perinatology as a nurse practitioner. I strive to be a reliable resource for patients and their families, believing that every individual deserves to take charge of their health. Central to my practice is the empowerment of my patients; I focus on building meaningful relationships and personalize care to align with their preferences, allowing them to feel supported and confident throughout their health journeys.
My professional interests include prenatal care, high-risk obstetrics, lactation, mood disorders, and surveillance of the gynecologic cancer survivor. Outside of work, I cherish time with my husband and three children, enjoy hot yoga and barre, love water-skiing, and indulge in gluten-free cooking – all while making memories at our family cabin.
