Meet our Nurse Practitioners!
We asked them to share a fun fact about themselves and their favorite part about their job.
Jancy Eddy says, “I am not a fair-weather Vikings fan. I have loved them through thick and thin my entire life.” And what she loves most about her job is the privilege hearing other women’s stories.
Christine Ellison told us, “The best part of my job is helping women achieve their health goals and developing trusting relationships with my patients.”
One fun fact about Emma Ashenmacher is that she is a shameless country music lover. The part of her job that she enjoys most is building relationships with her patients and partnering with them in decisions about their care.
Theresa McDevitt’s fun fact is that she plays the violin and has taken accordion lessons! She also said, “I enjoy bonding with my patients through genuine listening and making them laugh at a visit where they initially thought they might be nervous. My proudest moment was when a patient laughed out her speculum! I feel honored by what patients share with me and the role they allow me to play in their life.”
Fun fact about Meghan Stommes: Although she grew up in Minnesota, she saw Lake Superior for the first time 1 year ago. She told us her favorite part of her job is building relationships with her patients.
