Dear Patients of Haugen OBGYN,
The doctors and nurse practitioners at Haugen OBGYN would like to assure you that we are committed to being available to continue to care for many of your pregnancy and GYN needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited that we are now able to do this with a Virtual Visit!
A Virtual Visit can be done from the safety and comfort of your home via either a telephone call or a secure online video visit face-to-face with your doctor on your iPhone or computer. These encounters will be billed to your insurance just like an office visit. Our goal is to provide the same high-quality personalized care for our patients during this time while also keeping you and your family safe.
Many GYN appointments and even some of your OB/pregnancy appointments can be achieved through a Virtual Visit. Examples include: prescription refills or adjustments, birth control counseling, pregnancy planning, menstrual period or bleeding concerns, menopause symptoms and consultation, hormone replacement therapy management, and reviews of ultrasounds or lab tests. If you are pregnant, your doctor will advise you about when to schedule in person office appointments versus virtual visits with us.
Please be advised that for both patient and staff safety, no other person may accompany you to an in office appointment, including any ultrasound.
Patients may facetime their partner on their own phone to share during their OB ultrasound if they desire.
If you have a well woman annual/yearly visit scheduled, you may be called to reschedule for a date later this summer. You will have the option to convert a previously scheduled appointment to a Virtual Visit to address any current concerns or issues.
